Learning

AIS is a dynamic, intercultural learning environment, welcoming students of all backgrounds and ages. We take pride in the fact that our students and staff come from all corners of the world.

Antwerp International School offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. The excellent IB results allow the students to attend well-regarded universities around the world.

Students also excel outside the classroom, competing in the Northwest European Council of International Schools (NECIS) sports tournaments and expanding their talents in visual and performing arts.

At AIS, our values underpin everything we do.

Curriculum

AIS offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.

Sports

AIS competes in the Northwest European Council of International Schools (NECIS) sports tournaments. We play a dominant role, competing in every activity offered. We are well respected for excellence in our quality of student-athletes, both on the playing field and off.

Arts

At AIS, students can explore and expand their talents in visual arts, theatre or music.

Technology

AIS takes advantage of the latest developments in technology, including the use of education-based apps and cloud services for learning and communication.

Languages

At an international school like AIS, bilingualism and trilingualism are quite common among staff and students. No wonder then that languages form an important part of our curriculum.

counseling

The Career and University Counseling Office provides a full range of support for students and their families in the university search, application, and transition process.
