In 2016 AIS introduced the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. It is a valuable programme with a Bronze, Silver and Gold level, challenging students to make a positive impact on other people's lives, as well as on their own. They need to set goals, organize themselves and be committed. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is an inclusive programme. Background, culture, or physical ability are not important.
Last year a group of 45 students from AIS started with the Awards programme. Shania is the first one to obtain Bronze at AIS. Read her story below.
