International Day 2012

Once every two years, the entire AIS school community, alumni and local residents gather together to celebrate the cultural diversity that makes AIS such a special place. International Day 2012 will be our biggest International Day yet, with 29 countries represented through an exciting array of booths, selling traditional foods, drinks and crafts. The CAS India trip is now finalized!

The CAS Programme and the education of the whole student are considered to be very important parts of the IB Diploma. These components enrich the experience of our younger generation by taking them outside the classroom to experience an unfamiliar and challenging world. Chemistry Fieldtrip to Brussels

In honor of the International Year of Chemistry 2011, our 11th-grade IB chemistry students attended the official “Closing Ceremony” in Brussels, were they had the opportunity to hear experts like the President of IUPAC and the noble prize winner for chemistry of 2009, Ada Yonath.

Middle School Green Day Bake Sale

Two things we can't get enough of: green plants and baked goods. That's why the Middle School Student Council held a bake sale to raise money and awareness for Green Day. Proceeds go to purchasing plants for each homeroom. AIS is sweet on being Green!

IGCSE Award Ceremony

All the hard work has paid off! Our current 11th-grade students have successfully completed their IGCSE exams and received their certificates.

Having a blast at the NECIS Championships

AIS volleyball and soccer teams swung into action at the NECIS conference championships. Two MVP and three sportsmanship awards were amongst the honors our players scooped up in Den Hague and Amsterdam.

Grand Opening of Our New Library

From grade-one children reading their first books through high school seniors working on essays and research projects, our new library, with its warm colors, modern furniture and cozy feeling, provides an atmosphere as relaxing as it is stimulating.
