Vinny Sant-Wade has been an international educator for the past 25 years. She returns to AIS with her diverse experiences as a teacher and an administrator. She is herself a product of international education, having completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in India, and her doctorate in American Literature in the United States.
This exposure to two contrasting educational systems has shaped her belief in the importance of varied approaches to learning and teaching. This philosophy has been reaffirmed through her work in the USA, Namibia, Switzerland, Oman, and The Bahamas.
Vinny believes that schools need to promote a safe and supportive environment where students and teachers can participate in meaningful learning experiences.
Kaye joined AIS in August 2003 after more than 15 years teaching in the United States, and in international schools in Laos, Mexico, Italy and Spain.
Kaye holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology/Education from the University of Maryland, with certification in Special Education. She completed her graduate degree at Bank Street College of Education in New York City.
Kaye believes in creating an environment that allows students and teachers to build on their personal strengths as learners and educators and where students are encouraged to challenge themselves to be fully engaged in every aspect of their education.
