Headmaster
Mr Alun Cooper
Mr Cooper, has been with AIS since 2008. Originally from England, he came to the school with a wealth of experience from his work in international school leadership since 1982. Prior to coming to Antwerp, Mr Cooper worked in Argentina, Bahrain, Chile, Liberia, Vietnam and the UK. He believes in the quality and diversity of international education, and hopes deeply that as the direct result of educating children in an inclusive fashion, the world can be a better place tomorrow than it is today.

Elementary School Principal
Ms Nicola Beale
Nicola Beale is the in-coming Elementary Principal at AIS. She has spent the last three years as Elementary Principal of a day and boarding school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Prior to this she worked in London and Colombia in IB PYP schools. Nicola loves working in an International environment. She advocates that education is for now, ensuring children have a broad and deep educational experience which allows them to experiment and learn about themselves and the world thereby growing into thoughtful, successful and happy adults.
